We are pleased to announce the 1st ANNUAL BILL CALDER MEMORIAL presented by Flatline Racing Bodies.

3 Races using 3 of Bill's favorite Cars and Tracks.

Bill was the first person a new driver would be introduced to and the kindest voice they would hear. As the "heart" of the Retreads Racing League, he dedicated himself to fostering an environment built on sportsmanship, respect, and a genuine love for racing.

Open to all Drivers 55 and over.

Non Retreads Drivers will need to apply to the league and make a donation in order to qualify for payouts.

RACES

305s at Eldora

Session opens at 6:30.

Qualifying at 7:00 pm

Evening Race

Track set to 20% for Qualifying and carries over.

After Qualifying there will be another Warm up session (for introductions and 4 wide only).

Drivers will be introduced one at a time in the order that they qualify. When your name is called, pull out of the pits at pace speed and circle the track to the front straight. Line up on an angle starting just before the start of Turn 1, closer to the inside fence (see the attached photo).

Once everyone is out on the track we will pause for a few photo ops and then the Bill Calder Pace Truck will lead everyone around the track at pace speed.

Start doubling up when instructed.

Next, the front rows (how many to be determined) will split with the inside car moving to the extreme inside and the outside car moving to the far outside leaving a large gap in the middle. When called upon, the back rows will drive up the middle until we are 4 wide. Keep a steady pace and stay even with the driver on your left.

On the next command the inside row will fall back one spot creating a missing man in honour of Bill.

We will do a couple of laps and then pull into the pits when instructed.

The session will then advance to the 30 lap feature.

Afternoon Race

Session will advance to Qualifying when the broadcast is ready. 5 minutes, 2 laps.

Session will then advance to the 20 minute Feature.

One pace lap.
No full course cautions.
One gallon of fuel which should get you past halfway before a pitstop.
Damage is off
Unlimited incidents and repairs.
No waves as there are no full course cautions.
If being lapped, please give way to leaders.
Top 3 for a photo and up to Waiting Room.

Evening Race

Session will advance to Qualifying when Broadcast is ready.

5 minutes, 2 Laps

Session will then advance to 50 Lap Feature. Roger will be driving the Bill Calder Memorial Pace Truck for the race. He will pull up behind the iRacing Pace Truck for the Pace Lap and then pull to the inside of the track at the start and let everyone by.
